Japanese are really crazy about European and Italian stuff. They invent every kind of things and take any italian name for the goods.There is now an ongoing Festival in the city which they call "Infiorata Kobe". Every now and then, you come across to some funny translations, nonsense, or wrong spelling.
Check the picture above that should read "Tulipano" but they wrote "Turipano". Well, it might not be just a spelling error...
As some of you know, the "L" doesn't exists in the Japanese Alphabet. Normally is always translated as "RI". Some shops, i believe, they change on purpose the Italian names to have them sound nicer in Japanese. Therefore, the one above, might not have been an error...
...therefore, let's just say it in japanese: CIAO ITARIA !!!
