I was surprised to see a YEN money bill hanging upside down on the wall. Of course i didn't resist and I had to enquire on the purpose of it.... I've excluded upfront the possibility of a mistake, since as i learned in the past, for everything, in japan, there is an explanation...
Apparently, this is a Chinese custom. You want more luck? You write the word "Luck" and hang it outside down. You want more money? You hang some money upside down. As I understood, it should work with pretty anything... so...just remember... you're looking for love? Write it and hang it upside down...who knows? Maybe someone nice might come and inquiry about it ...and it might happen to just really work! ;)
